ArmoTec® is a synthetic macro fiber made from heavy-duty polymer, designed for concrete reinforcement. Polymeric reinforced fibers are particularly suitable for replacing welded wire reinforcement and conventional metal fibers in concrete environments where high chemical and corrosion resistance are required.
Additional reinforcement of concrete, due to the uniform distribution throughout the concrete matrix of a huge number of fibers ArmoTec®, controls the process of cracking and provides concrete with further reinforcement.
ArmoTek reinforced concrete has three-dimensional reinforcement with increased bending strength, impact resistance and surface wear resistance. Fiber ArmoTek will help minimize cracking during shrinkage of concrete. Thanks to the special corrugated surface of the fibers, they provide excellent adhesion to concrete, increasing their effectiveness especially in shotcrete.
